Day 25/30 – continuing this ridiculous folly

Day 25 is brought to you from a field in kent. The tent is up, the barbecue is smoking and I’ve done 2 miles at 9.41min/mile under a very blue cloudless sky.
It took me a while to set off because I went all shy about running out of the campsite. I decided to wear my brightest top so that i could be found in a ditch if necessary and off i went down the windy lanes. There’s plenty of sheep to keep an eye on me, although i’m not sure they understand my accent when I baa at them.

We’re now sitting outside the tent in the sunshine cooking up jerk chicken and indulging in a chilled beaker of wine. Apparently I’m doing an early 3 miles tomorrow.

Kent, as we know, is the greatest county in the kingdom. Welcome. And enjoy the runs as Juneathon eases into old age. Whereabouts in the county are you?

As a Lancastrian I have to raise an eyebrow at your opening statement (also we stopped at asda in ashford on the way down…). We’re out on the marshes in Newchurch, about 5 miles from Dymchurch. It’s rather gorgeous.

It’s much the same as any other asda, not the best advert for anywhere. Having said that, I may have spotted your 3 nemeses from the gym the other day…
